Maximum Water Power Hydrologic Estimation and Energy Optimization
Project Description
Being one of the renewable energy sources, hydrologic energy production is connected to the knowledge on water flow regime. Providing maximum energy production of hydroelectric power plants in our country by optimum water usage and therefore maximizing the income of the plant operating companies; MARNAS project is a system which was developed with national sources. Hydrologic estimation and energy optimization modules works integrated in the project developed. MARNAS brings operating simplicity for run of the river power plants as well as hydroelectric energy production facilities with storage.
MARNAS is basically compromised of a hydraulic estimation module that makes short, medium and long term flow estimation and energy production optimization module that makes energy optimization with using outcomes of estimation module and hydraulic and electromechanical means of the facility.
Purpose of the project
The purpose of the Maximum Water Power Project is to make projection of the water potential of hydroelectric power plants, to maximize the income by establishing a bridge between the water potential and energy stock market and to develop precaution capabilities against possible flood events.
It provides energy optimization of hydroelectric power plant, and it helps operation policy via submitting instant data to the hydroelectric power plant operator.
